2 shootings in Sandusky, Ohio, not related to Bike Week

SANDUSKY, Ohio (WJW) – Sandusky police are searching for a suspect who shot and seriously injured two men Saturday night.

Sandusky Police Chief Jared Oliver told the FOX 8 I-Team that the shooting occurred in the 200 block of West Market Street in Sandusky around 11 p.m.


The victims were taken to the hospital.

“They both suffered serious injuries,” Oliver said. “We are trying to identify the shooter.”

The chief added that the incident was not related to the Bike Week event. He said the shooting was a continuation of β€œan incident that occurred inside another business downtown.”
