Calling all Lego lovers! Brick Fest Live at the Indiana Convention Center – Indianapolis News | Indiana Weather | Indiana Traffic

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Calling all LEGO lovers! Brick Fest Live is in town and Sunday is the last day to see thousands of LEGO builds and lots more fun.

There are dozens of life-size models, hands-on activities and attractions on display at the Indiana Convention Center.

Paul Chiafullo, show director for Brick Fest Live, says the event is one of the largest LEGO festivals in the country and will continue its national tour after its stop in Indy.

In addition to the various attractions, Brick Fest will feature “LEGO Masters” contestants, a black-light Glow Zone, a colorful graffiti wall and LEGO architecture. There will even be a giant brick pit with over 200,000 bricks inside.

“We have a lot of areas where people can just build, whatever they want, whatever they can think of,” Chiafullo said.

The numerous attractions also include the opportunity to build on the LEGO mosaic that set the Guinness World Record, as well as a display area to purchase hard-to-find LEGO products.

Chiafullo says the event is aimed at children under 12 years old, adding that more than 4,000 people attended Brick Fest on Saturday.

“I don’t think LEGO will ever go away,” Chiafullo said.
