The Pennsylvania Treasury will donate $5,529; This is how you can enter

(WHTM) – The Pennsylvania Treasury celebrates Day 529 on Wednesday in recognition of the PA 529 Guaranteed Savings Plan.

The program helps families prepare for college and career education with a savings account that can be used for any eligible college or technical school.


During the month of May, those who open a new PA 529 account and contribute at least $10 have a chance to win $5,529. There are two grand prizes, as well as six secondary/regional prizes of $2,529 for those who open new accounts.

New account holders have until 11:59 pm on May 31 to create their account and deposit at least $10 to be considered for the contest. The program is open to legal residents of the United States and the recipient must be a resident of Pennsylvania.
