Metro train and driver collide in South Los Angeles

LOS ANGELES – A Metro K Line train and a driver collided along Crenshaw Blvd. Saturday night.

LAPD Southwest and LAFD paramedics responded to calls of a Metro train hitting a vehicle at the intersection of W 50th St and Crenshaw Blvd. around 11:42 p.m.

When rescuers arrived at the scene, they located a white van hit by the train.

No one in the truck was injured.

A woman who was on the train was treated and released at the scene by paramedics.
