Two people injured after car crashes into business in Murray Hill

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Two people were taken to a hospital after crashing their car into a business in the Murray Hill area early Sunday morning, according to the Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department.

Around 3 a.m., the car crashed into First Coast CrossFit on Edgewood Avenue.

“We have people passing by very quickly and making quite a lot of noise. But it’s pretty sad. Obviously, I don’t think it was intentional,” said Paul Marshall, who lives in the area. “Unfortunately, it’s a residential neighborhood where people go quickly to I-10. “Sometimes people forget that I-10 at Roosevelt doesn’t continue on the main arteries and goes pretty fast.”

JFRD said one of the two injured people suffered serious injuries.

The cause of the accident is unknown.
