Terre Haute Air Show takes off this weekend | News

The rain didn’t stop people from having a great time. However, the Blue Angels did not perform today due to rain.

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) – The Terre Haute Air Show kicked off this weekend.

The last show was in 2018. The rain didn’t stop people from having a great time!

Among the sound of planes flying could be heard the sound of excitement from those who watched the show on Saturday morning. Waves of people have passed through the airport with their raincoats and umbrellas to see the spectacle.

Finally, rain pushed back the air show schedule. Shortly after 3 pm, organizers announced that the Blue Angels would not be performing today due to wet conditions. Despite the rain… there was great support from guests and vendors.

“It’s been pretty good, people came even though it was raining, but I think tomorrow is going to be a monster day,” said vendor Fred Engenss.
