Indian Orchard Citizens Council Hosts Comedy Night Fundraiser

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – The Indian Orchard Citizens Council offered neighborhood residents a night of laughter with its first-ever comedy night fundraiser Saturday night.

Funds raised at the event will go toward the eighth annual Indian Orchard Food Truck Festival, which offers a wide variety of local delicacies and costs between $15,000 and $20,000.


“I hope they laugh, because laughter is the best medicine,” said Zaida Govan, Springfield City Councilwoman and IOCC president. “I hope people know they are supporting a good cause and come to our food truck festival on October 12th.

Funny 4 Funds provided comedy for the night.
