One dead and three injured in shooting in northeast Columbus, Ohio

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) – A 39-year-old man was killed and three others were injured after a shooting in northeast Columbus Saturday night.

Authorities responded to the scene in the 500 block of North Ohio Avenue at 11:05 p.m. Saturday after a report of a shooting, according to the Columbus Division of Police. Officers transported two men suffering from gunshot wounds to a local hospital in critical condition, and a woman who also suffered a gunshot wound was taken in stable condition.

One of those victims, Ein Johnson, 39, was pronounced dead at 11:05 p.m. despite the efforts of medical personnel. The other man remains in critical condition. A fourth victim, a woman, who took herself to a local hospital is in stable condition.

Investigators are trying to determine the circumstances leading up to the incident and ask anyone with information to call 614-645-4730.
