Apparent highway shooting leaves one dead and three injured

PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) — Police are investigating what is believed to be a highway shooting that left one person dead in southwest Philadelphia.

Authorities told Action News it started with a crash at 62nd Street and Grays Avenue around 11 p.m. Saturday.

After the crash, the people inside the vehicles argued among themselves.

“It appears that the groups in both vehicles had weapons, at some point one of those people started shooting at the others,” Inspector DF Pace said.

Three people were shot and one of them died.

One person is detained for questioning.
