Woman dies after being found unconscious in her home in Coconut Grove, north of Darwin

A woman has died after being found unconscious in a Northern Territory home.

The 36-year-old woman was reported unconscious at the Coconut Grove home in Darwin’s north about 12.30pm on Saturday.

Paramedics declared the woman dead after arriving at the home.

A 43-year-old man surrendered to police at the home.

He was arrested and remains in custody.

It is believed that the man and woman know each other.

NT Police are investigating the woman’s death.
