Robert Hall Obituary – Rocky River, OH (1929-2012)

Memorial services for Robert E. “Rocky” Hall, 82, of Rocky River, formerly of Wickliffe, will be at 4 p.m. on Saturday, January 7, 2012 at the Orlando-Donsante Funeral Home, 29550 Euclid Ave., Wickliffe.

Mr. Hall died on January 2, 2012 at St. John West Shore Hospital.

Born Feb. 2, 1929, in Cleveland, he had lived in Wickliffe before moving to Rocky River last year.

“Rocky” was a police lieutenant with the East Cleveland Police Department for 20 years, retiring in 1971.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps and a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church.

He is survived by his wife, Theresa M. (Hargas) Hall; sons, Michael A. and Jeffrey A. Hall; daughter, Christine M. Wolons; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his son, Daniel A. Hall.

Friends may call from 1 to 4 pm Saturday, January 7, 2012 at the Orlando-Donsante Funeral Home, 29550 Euclid Ave., Wickliffe. Private burial will be at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Rittman.
