Retired CPD sergeant, 57 years old. Devoted husband to Molly (nee Riordan) for 20 years. Proud father of John and Jenny. She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Frank (WWII veteran, retired CPD) and Emily (Michalak) Hagemann. Dear younger brother of Matt, Susan, the late Janice, Gail and Carol. Beloved son-in-law of Sharon and the late Brian Riordan. Dear brother-in-law of Becky (Bill, CFD) Gierhahn, Tom (Cecile) Riordan and Emmett (Meg) Riordan. Loving uncle to 12 nieces and nephews. He visits Monday from 4 to 8 pm at Cooney Funeral Home, 625 Busse Highway, Park Ridge. Funeral Mass Tuesday at 12 noon at St. Paul of the Cross Church, 320 S Washington Ave, Park Ridge. Burial in Maryhill Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Paul’s name to the American Heart Association. https://www.heart.org
