Chamber announces shortlist for 2024 Solihull Awards | Community

Solihull Chamber of Commerce has revealed the shortlisted applicants for the 2024 Solihull Awards, taking place at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole on Friday 13 September.


44 businesses have been shortlisted across 12 categories for the awards ceremony. Samantha Frampton, Director of Solihull Chamber of Commerce, said: “I am delighted to see the list of fantastic businesses that have been shortlisted for this year’s awards. I would like to thank everyone who has taken the time to apply and I look forward to seeing you all on the evening.”

One company will also be crowned Solihull Business of the Year, sponsored by Solihull Metropolitan Borough Council.

This year’s shortlisted candidates were Ruth Pipkin, Managing Director at Rewired PR, Calum Nisbet, CEO of Kaleidoscope, Kingston Myles, Enterprise Director at Birmingham Museums Trust, Sarah Griffiths, Project Manager at Intercity Technology, Sam Watson, Store Manager at Selfridges Birmingham, and Harvir Sahota, CEO of Mahirs Experience. Commenting on the assessment of the shortlisted candidates, Kingston Myles said: “It’s clear that the business community is strong in Solihull.

“Despite the current economic conditions, it has been inspiring to see a range of international, national and local businesses, all based in Solihull, apply for a variety of awards. Judging these awards was not easy, all of these businesses are contributing to the economy and community in so many ways – they are all worthy winners, but I look forward to seeing the overall winners of these awards announced in September.”
