A woman has died after a collision involving vehicles leaving a supposedly taken-over street in the Willowbrook neighborhood of Los Angeles.

According to preliminary information, the accident occurred shortly before 1 a.m. Saturday at El Segundo Boulevard and South Central Avenue.

At least one of the vehicles involved was associated with a street-blocking convoy leaving the area, witnesses said.

A video taken shortly after the crash obtained by KTLA shows a mangled black Infiniti sedan left sitting on a sidewalk along South Central Boulevard; the other vehicle involved, a black Scion hatchback, was badly damaged and found at the corner of El Segundo and South Central.

The victim is an unidentified woman, RMGNews reported. It is not known whether she was connected to the alleged street takeover.

It is also unclear whether there were any injuries or arrests.

KTLA has reached out to law enforcement for more information but has not yet received a response.
