Carlisle: Ferrari driver lucky to be alive after car flipped onto roof at Orrong Road

The driver of a luxury car and his passenger are lucky to be alive after a Ferrari rolled onto its roof on a busy road.

Police were called to the scene of the crash at the intersection of Orrong Road and Wright Street in Carlisle, about 8 kilometres from central Perth, shortly after 1pm on Saturday.

The bright yellow Ferrari was severely damaged in the crash, which left it overturned and blocking a lane of traffic along Orrong Road.

A tow truck arrived at the scene to remove the luxury car, which appears to be an SF90 Stradale.
