Florida gas prices have risen since last week – see how much here

State gasoline prices rose for a second straight week, averaging $3.31 a gallon for regular fuel on Monday, up from last week’s price of $3.29 a gallon, according to the U.S. Energy Information Administration.

The average gas price in the state has fallen about 5 cents since last month. According to the EIA, statewide gas prices over the past year have been as low as $2.81 on Dec. 18, 2023, and as high as $3.76 on Aug. 7, 2023.

A year ago, the average price of gasoline in Florida was 2% lower, at $3.24 per gallon.

The average price of gasoline in the United States last week was $3.48, making prices in the state about 4.8% lower than the national average. The national average price of gasoline is higher than last week’s average of $3.44 per gallon.
