Former Husker Keisei Tominaga signs free agent contract with Indiana Pacers

Former Huskers men’s basketball guard and fan favorite Keisei Tominaga will get a shot at the NBA after going undrafted last month.

ESPN reports that the Indiana Pacers have signed Tominaga to an Exhibit 10 contract.

Last season, as a senior at Nebraska, Tominaga averaged 15.1 points, 2.3 rebounds and 1.4 assists per game while shooting 37.6 percent from 3-point range.

The Exhibit 10 deal is a non-guaranteed contract worth the NBA’s minimum salary and will not count against Indiana’s salary cap unless Tominaga is part of the regular-season roster.

The contract can also be converted to a two-way deal before the start of the regular season, which would allow Tominaga to split time and play with both the Pacers and their G League team, the Indiana Mad Ants.
