NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — Celebrate Independence Day with one of the largest fireworks displays in the country at the Nashville Fireworks Show. Let freedom sing! City of Music July 4thHe.

It’s not just about fireworks: in 2024, for the first time, Nashville will use drones for its annual Fourth of July event. A total of 400 drones have been incorporated into the show.

An estimated 40,000 pounds of explosives, with projectiles up to 8 inches in size, and 200 miles of wire will be used to light up the skies over Nashville this year.

Twenty Pyro Shows technicians have been putting on Nashville’s Fourth of July fireworks show for the past 10 days.

Organizers of the fireworks and drones said everything will be coordinated and set to live music from the Nashville Symphony.

If you are headed to downtown Nashville, the John Seigenthaler Pedestrian Bridge and the Woodland Street Bridge will be closed to traffic and pedestrians no later than 8:00 p.m. They will reopen after the event at the discretion of the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department.
