Residents complain of rats, mice and maggots at a Phoenix apartment complex

PHOENIX — Residents of an apartment complex near Central Avenue and Camelback Road contacted ABC15 after finding rats, mice and maggots in their units over the past few months.

Residents told ABC15 they reached out to the property management group several times since the problems began, with no response, until recently.

Miranda Moore, a resident for a year, said: “When they come and take the dead rats out of the holes in the walls and in the stoves, they leave droppings all over the floor and the counters. There have been maggots that have fallen on the counters. I can hear them in the walls, you can hear them in the vents. I’ve seen them moving around in the vents.”
