What changes can drivers expect?

CLEVELAND, Ohio — Drivers in Cuyahoga, Geauga and Lake counties could see some lane closures and detours in the coming weeks as the summer road construction season continues.

Many of the closures will occur overnight, limiting the impact on travelers, according to an updated list of projects from the Ohio Department of Transportation.

Harper Highway Northbound entrance ramp to US 422 Westbound will be closed at 8 p.m. July 12 until 6 a.m. July 15. The detour is via eastbound US 422 to Ohio 91 to westbound US 422.

I-90 Westbound on East 260th Street There will be several lane closures and traffic pattern changes from 8 p.m. July 12 to 11 a.m. July 14 for bridge repairs.

Ohio 2 ramp westbound to I-90 westbound There will be several lane closures and traffic pattern changes from 8 p.m. July 12 through 11 a.m. Sunday for bridge repairs.

I-480 eastbound to I-71 ramp It currently has several off-peak lane closures until mid-July for bridge repairs.

I-480 westbound to Ohio 252 (Great Northern Boulevard) southbound ramp It will be closed from 9 p.m. Sunday to 6 a.m. Tuesday for bridge repairs.

Ohio 87 between Ohio 306 and the Cuyahoga County line There will be several lane restrictions maintained by flaggers beginning Monday and continuing through the end of September for repaving.

Ohio 306 under US 422 will be reduced to one lane in each direction weekly between 8 p.m. Friday and 8 a.m. Monday beginning this Friday and continuing through September.

Burns Road northbound and southbound at US 20 It will be closed from Monday through July 22 for paving work. The detour is Ohio 528 to Hubbard Road.
