The Sea & Sky Air Show will not be held in Jacksonville Beach in 2025

JACKSONVILLE BEACH, Florida. – Jacksonville Beach will not host the fan-favorite Sky and Air Show in 2025, according to Mayor Chris Hoffman.

The air show, typically held in October, features the U.S. Navy’s Blue Angels and other pilots who perform an astonishing flying display for thousands of eager spectators.

“I am very disappointed to learn that the City of Jacksonville will not be hosting the 2025 Jacksonville Beach Air Show. This is always a great event and our residents love celebrating our military and enjoying a weekend of patriotic performances and displays. We look forward to working with the City of Jacksonville to resume the event as soon as possible,” Hoffman wrote on his Facebook page.

Last year, the Jacksonville Beach show was significantly shortened because the civil acts that would normally be featured were not on the schedule due to spikes in insurance and liability costs.

According to the Blue Angels’ 2025 schedule, Jacksonville is not listed as a location for the event.

It’s unclear why the event would not return, but News4JAX is working to learn more about the event’s future.
