Thieves broke into Englewood liquor store: CPD

Chicago police are investigating a burglary at an Englewood liquor store Tuesday morning.

CHICAGO (WLS) — Chicago police said robbers used a car to break into an Englewood liquor store Tuesday morning.

The incident occurred in the 6600 block of South Halsted Street at approximately 4:34 a.m.

Police said the suspects rammed the store’s security door and then partially removed it to gain entry.

Four suspects then entered the store and took belongings, and were later joined by two more suspects, police said.

The suspects then fled in a white pickup truck and a silver sedan, police said.

No one is in custody and Area One detectives are investigating.
