5 displaced after house fire in west Phoenix

PHOENIX (AZ Family) – A house fire in west Phoenix left five people displaced Sunday.

Firefighters responded to a call around 1 p.m. for reports of an exterior debris fire next to a home near 63rd Avenue and Pierson Street.

When crews arrived at the scene, flames began to spread toward the home.

Firefighters rushed inside to stop the blaze and quickly gained control of the flames.

All residents were able to safely exit the home before firefighters arrived.

No injuries were reported. Investigators are working to determine what caused the fire.
