Residents treated outside house burned in Los Angeles fire

Fire crews responded to a fire that broke out at a home in the Koreatown neighborhood of Los Angeles on Friday morning.

The fire was reported at the one-story home in the 900 block of Kenmore Avenue shortly before 10 a.m.


Flames from the high-alarm fire were threatening adjacent homes to the north and south, the Los Angeles Fire Department stated in a news alert.

Aerial video from Sky5 showed crews appeared to have gotten the upper hand on the fire just before 10:30 a.m.

Medical staff could be seen treating people on the sidewalk outside the home, but it was unclear if anyone was seriously injured.

There was no immediate information on what caused the fire.
