Miss Santa Clara County Kimberly Vernon has been named Miss California 2024 and now he will represent the Golden State in next years miss america pompwhich will be held in early 2025.

How much money does the winner of Miss California receive?

Although the organizers of the Miss California 2024 pageant have not officially released the details of the award, Fresno-based newspaper The Fresno Bee revealed the winner of the 2023 event, Sabrina Lewis, said a $20,000 scholarship “among other prizes,” as well as the usual state crown and sash.

But those who were left without the main prize did not leave empty-handed. The first runner-up received a $7,000 scholarship.and the rest of the top five also received Scholarships of $5,000, $4,000 and $2,500 respectively.

The prizes offered in 2024 are expected to be similar, if not identical, to those awarded 12 months ago.

Who is Kimberly Vernon, Miss California 2024?

Vernon calls from the San Francisco Bay Area and describes herself on her personal website as a “artist, educator and advocate” who has “an unwavering passion for making a positive impact on the world.”

A graduate of California State University, Fullerton, where she double-majored in Theater and Film and Television Arts and minored in American Studies, Vernon, the most recent winner of Miss Santa Clara Countyis four-time local champion at Miss America Opportunitya program that focuses on a number of areas, including community service, volunteering, women’s education, and women’s empowerment.

Vernon has described the program as a “transformative force” in your life, which has led to a career change. He currently works as Marketing and Operations Associate for Queenly, an online marketplace for formal wear.

Vernon hopes to become the first Miss California to be crowned Miss America in more than 40 yearswith Debra Maffet, the 1982 winner at Golden State, who last accomplished the feat in 1983.
